Short version: we collect what we need to deliver your services, we don't sell your data, and we use a small set of trusted processors (Stripe, Supabase, Firecrawl, Resend) to run the platform.

1. Who we are
JD Equity Partners LLC ("we," "us") is a Michigan LLC that provides SEO, backlinking, Google Ads management, photography, and related marketing services to local businesses. This policy explains what we collect on jdequitypartners.com and in the Client Portal, and what we do with it.
2. What we collect
Contact & account info
Your name, email address, phone number, and login credentials when you sign up, request a quote, or contact support.
Business details
Business name, website, location(s), industry, current marketing setup, and goals — whatever you share in the onboarding flow or in the portal so we can actually do the work.
Payment info
Payment details are collected and stored by Stripe. We only see the last 4 digits, brand, expiration, and payment status — we never see or store your full card number.
Integration credentials
If you connect Google Business Profile, Google Ads, or similar accounts, we store OAuth tokens (never your third-party passwords) encrypted at rest so we can deliver reporting and manage campaigns.
Usage analytics & device data
Pages you view, features you use, IP address, browser, and device — used to keep the site fast and secure and to improve the product. Managed through our cookie banner and product analytics.
Content you create
Support tickets, requests, uploaded documents, and messages you send in the portal.
3. How we use it
- Deliver the services you paid for (SEO, ads, photography, reporting, portal access).
- Bill you through Stripe and send receipts.
- Send transactional emails (magic links, receipts, service updates, support replies).
- Provide customer support and respond to requests.
- Generate baseline intel and reports about your business (e.g. public reviews, page speed).
- Keep the platform secure and detect abuse.
- Improve the product using aggregated, non-identifying usage data.
We do not sell your personal data, and we don't share it for third-party advertising.
4. Processors we use
We use a small set of trusted vendors to actually run the service. Each is a "processor" acting on our instructions.

5. Cookies & analytics
We use essential cookies to keep you signed in and secure, and product analytics cookies to understand how the site is used. You can adjust preferences from the cookie banner or your browser settings.
6. How long we keep data
We keep account and business data for as long as your account is active, plus a reasonable period after (typically up to 12 months) for support, tax, and legal reasons. Transient data like AI chat sessions, read notifications, and resolved support tickets is cleaned up after 21 days. Private portal messages are auto-deleted after 14 days.
7. Your rights
You can email us at JDEquityPartners@gmail.com to access, correct, export, or delete the personal data we hold about you, or to unsubscribe from marketing email. We'll respond within 30 days. Some data (like paid invoices) we're required to keep for tax reasons.
8. Security
Data is transmitted over HTTPS and stored in Supabase with row-level security. Integration credentials are encrypted at rest. No system is 100% secure, but we work hard to keep yours safe and will notify affected users promptly if we learn of a breach that affects them.
9. Children
Our services are for businesses and adults. We don't knowingly collect data from anyone under 18.
10. Changes to this policy
If we make material changes, we'll update the "Last updated" date and, where appropriate, notify you in the portal or by email.
